Celebrating support staff workers and their contributions to Ontario’s education community
OTIP is thrilled to recognize and celebrate two support staff workers for their contributions to our schools and to student success.
“We are happy to recognize these leaders for their dedication to the education community,” says Vic Medland, CEO of OTIP. “This award recognizes the important role that support staff workers play within schools across Ontario, and our recipients are shining examples of what the Support Staff Worker Award embodies.”
Nominated by their colleagues and selected by a panel of OTIP judges, OTIP is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 OTIP Support Staff Worker Awards:

This year, we had a record-breaking number of nominations for our Support Staff Worker Award – more than 600 nominations across both categories. This is a true testament to the vital role that support workers play in our school communities, and to student success.
