If you are a member of an Employee Life and Health Trust (ELHT) Benefits Plan, chances are you’ve accessed OTIP’s secure member site. This site helps you to manage your benefits coverage and claims information all in one place.
Log in today to explore your OTIP member site features, including My Benefits, My Claims, My News and My Library.
My Benefits is a partnership between OTIP and the ELHT. You use this tool to enrol into the benefits plan and manage your coverage and what premiums you are responsible for paying (if applicable).
- Update if you and/or your family members have coverage with another plan
- Update your beneficiary designation
- Update your benefits during a leave
- Ensure your eligible overage children who are students are covered under your plan
- Change your email address to receive notices and information about your benefits plan
My Claims is a partnership between OTIP and Manulife (the insurer). You can use this tool to submit your claims for reimbursement and check the status of your claims.
- Access your benefits booklet to see what benefits are covered under your plan
- Check your available balances for dental, vision and paramedical services
- Submit a claim
- Check on the status of your claim and your claims history
- Submit a pre-determination to find out if the cost of a claim will be covered
- Co-ordinate between your benefits plan with another benefits plan
- Send a secure email to OTIP Benefits Services
- Change your email address to receive status of your claims
My Library allows you to access important benefits plan related documents and resources.

Do you need to change your mailing address, name or date of birth?
Your personal information is provided to OTIP by your school board/employer. You will need to contact them to update your information if it changes. You will not be able to update your new address, name change, or date of birth in My Benefits or My Claims. It can take up to 10-20 business days from the date you notify your board before these changes are shared with OTIP and reflected in My Benefits and My Claims.
NOTE: My Benefits and My Claims are offered through two different systems. To update your preferred email address, you will need to change your email in both My Benefits and My Claims.
